MEYER WERFT | Die Norwegian Bliss entsteht
Mit der Norwegian Bliss hat die MEYER WERFT den 11. Neubau für Norwegian Cruise Line gebaut. Das neue Schiff ist 167.800 BRZ groß, 333,46 Meter lang und 41,4 Meter breit. Zwei Wasserrutschen über mehrere Etagen und doppelte Ocean-Loops über die Bordwand sowie eine große Kartbahn sind die Unterhaltungs-Highlights an Bord. Viele technische Maßnahmen zur Schonung der Umwelt sorgen dafür, dass ein schöner und gleichzeitig ökologisch verantwortungsvoller Urlaub an Bord verbracht wird.
Der elektrische Pod-Antrieb, eine verbesserte Hydrodynamik und viele Energiesparvorrichtungen machen dies deutlich. Die Abgase aus den energiesparenden Motoren werden zudem in einem speziellen System (Scrubber) gereinigt.
Norwegian Bliss is the 13th ship built for Norwegian Cruise Line by MEYER WERFT. The 167,800 GRT cruise ship Norwegian Bliss offers ultra-modern gastronomy and many exciting attractions including a large go-cart track. Pool highlights include two slides extending down several decks and double ocean loops protruding beyond the side of the ship.
Many technical measures to protect the environment ensure passengers can enjoy a lovely holiday while at the same time showing responsibility for the environment, illustrated clearly by features including the electric pod propulsion drive and improved hydrodynamics, together with many energy saving systems such as heat recovery or extensive water cleaning systems. The exhaust gas from energy-efficient engines is cleaned in a special scrubber system.
